Marc
Burckhardt has created art for clients that include
Time, Fortune, Atlantic Monthly, The New York Times,
National Geographic, the Village Voice, Major League
Baseball, Georgia Pacific, Schering Pough, Comcast/AT&T,
AOL/Time Warner, Random House, Simon & Schuster
and Viking Penguin. A past president of the Board of
the Illustration Conference, he is also a founding member
of the Illustrators Partnership of America. Burckhardts
work has received a gold medal from the Los Angeles
Society of Illustrators, as well as numerous awards
from Communications Arts, Print, Graphics and the New
York Society of Illustrators. He has been profiled in
STEP-BY-STEP Graphics Magazine and Art Direction Magazine.
Burckhardt has taught illustration at the School of
Visual Arts and Syracuse University.
