Rod
Dyer began his career at Kenyon Advertising in his native
South Africa. Upon emigrating to the U.S., he began
building his reputation during his tenure with Gore,
Smith, Greenland Agency-NY, Jerome Gould Package Design,
Carson/Roberts Advertising, Charles Eames and Capitol
Records. In 1967 he formed Rod Dyer, Inc. where his
client list grew to include every major and independent
movie studio as well as the majority of network and
cable broadcasters. In addition, Dyer has published
several books, including The Golden Age of Matchbook
Art, Fit To Be Tied, and a childrens book entitled
Who Likes the Rain? His current line of wrought iron
furniture, necktie and pen designs is marketed through
Acme Studios on a worldwide basis.
