Phil Savenick

Phil Savenick, early in his career, produced music videos for the likes of Tom Petty, Elton John and Billy Joel. He is perhaps best known as the writer-producer of many television compilation documentaries. Savenick produced CBS’s 50 Years of Television: A Golden Celebration, ABC’s 40th Anniversary Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show’s 20th Anniversary and co-produced M*A*S*H: Our Finest Hour, The Best of Disney’s 50 Years of Magic, and Monty Python Reunion Tribute. Savenick’s production company, TV IS OK Productions, created Disney Sing-Along Songs, the most successful made-for-home video series in history. He has been nominated for two Emmys and has won the CableAce for best comedy special, a Film Advisory Board Award and the Cine "Golden Eagle" award.
