Vigon
Larry
Vigon is a graduate of Art Center College of Design
and has served as a member of its faculty. He began
his career designing record albums for Eric Clapton,
Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, Bonnie Raitt, Counting Crows,
Thomas Dolby, Carole King, Pat Benatar, Oingo Boingo
and Frank Sinatra. Vigon has designed for nearly every
major motion picture studio, television network and
record company, as well as for a number of technology
companies including IBM, Epson, Time/Warner, DreamWorks,
UPN, Sony and Nintendo. He completed a massive identity
project for the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las
Vegas, designing everything from poker chips to restaurant
identities and Hard Rock-branded merchandise. Vigon
won the prestigious New York Art Directors Award
for magazine design and has also won numerous international
graphic arts and advertising creative awards. He is
creative director and co-founder of Vigon/Ellis
