Blake
Thornton attended Cornish and the New School of Visual
Concepts in Seattle, Washington. Thornton began his
career as an art director for The Gap in 1980. In 1982
he started freelancing as an airbrush illustrator, turning
to the computer in 1989. He has an extensive client
list which includes Pepsi, Disney, McDonalds,
Nickelodeon and many others. He works out of a Main
Street studio and art gallery in Hailey, Idaho where
he paints abstracts and landscapes in oil.
